School Times & Office Hours

Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of each month (except during school holidays) at 6pm to 8pm in the school library.Meetings are open to the school community.

The main job of the School Council is to make sure the school has good governance. Good governance means seeing that everything to do with the running of the school is done properly, according to the right processes and for the right purpose. Governance is not about making day-to-day decisions - that’s called management and is the job of the Principal (who also provides leadership for the school community), the Business Manager and senior staff.

School Uniforms

Woodroffe Primary School Uniforms

Children are expected to wear full school uniform at both preschool and school. The uniform consists of Preschool/school logo shirt, navy blue shorts/skirt/culottes, a broad brimmed hat and covered shoes or firm fitting sandals that have a back strap. Uniforms can be purchased at the primary school front office.

  • Closed in shoes are best for children to wear to school, for safety purposes.
  • In alignment with the school’s Sun Safe Policy, children must wear a wide brim or bucket hat while outside. If children come to school without a hat they will stay under the verandah during outside play time. “Yes hat; Yes play”
  • Please ensure that all clothing, footwear, hats, lunch boxes and drink bottles are clearly labelled with your child’s name. In the busy day children quickly forget what belongs to them.
